The Forest had a beautiful lake attached to it.
We also had use of the boat house, and Ben had setup an extensive library of bushcraft and outdoor books.
I spent some amazing evenings in there, as I love to read.
In the evenings, I also took a canoe out onto the lake, which was really relaxing.

At one point on the course, we had to each, setup our own camp, and cook fish on a fire.
I sat around the fire, nearly all night.
This is my fire, with a pot hanger full of coffee.
One of the people who instructs there (Steve). Actually has his own company as well, and runs Canoe expeditions.
This is a canoe he made from Cedar.

In the afternoon, we are given a project to make cordage, and we sit around the tarn, talking as we worked.
During one of the evenings, a woodland Sauna is constructed.
I don't normally use the Sauna at the gym, so I was interested to see what it would be like.
It was constructed from bent tree's, fastened together with spruce root.

Me when I got out of the Sauna.
I have never been so hot, and jumped in the tarn to cool down.
