Lee, Cazzy and I, decide to cycle to the highest pub in England.
The Thursday evening before the bank holiday weekend.
We relax in my mums, and gather our strength (and get pissed !).
Much of the route, was along canal sides like this one.
For the most part, the Weather was superb, although this isnt obvious from the pictures.

We briefly stop off at a small town, to get some supplies (Cans of lager, etc).
As we stop, I take in a good nostrel full, of country air, which explains the ridiculous expression on my face.
Interestingly, the T Shirt I am wearing, was a gift from my old friend Yvonne Brock, purchased during her trip around the world.
What none of use realised at the time, was that she and Cazzy (featured in the background) would later start seeing each other, and ultimately get married.
We travelled alpine stlyle (even though at the time, I didnt know it was called that at the time).
At one time, the tent appeared to have been put up in a bog, and had to be moved to a better spot.

Unfortunately, when we got there, the bar was shut (it was 2:10 and the bar was closed until 3pm) we were freezing, so never actualy got a pint there.
We came home later, and raised the grand total of £4.00 to charity (in actual fact, we put it towards a round of drinks).
