About my visit's to the Middle East.

Dubai 1

Driving along Dubai's main highway, chartering a boat across the creek, and visiting the Spice Souk.

Dubai 2

Burj al Arab 7 star Hotel, Lunch at the Mariner, the Palm Island, Ski Slope in the Desert, Burj Dubai tower (when completed will be 5 meters short of half a mile high), Desert Safari and Dinner at Trader Vicks.

Cairo

A wander around Cairo. I visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx, during the evening, we have dinner on the nile, and an impromptu party in my room.

Sinai

Travel under the Suez canal and see the sheer size of the desert and watch ships appear to sail across it. Climb mount Sinai and celebrate with Easter Eggs.

Red Sea

Beachfront food in the evenings. Go for long walks, and have a go in the pool. Nearly apply for a Gob and see some sinister "bedroom art".

Dana NP

Fireside evening. Wander around the amazing DNP and see live scorpions and beautiful scenery.

Wadi Rum

Drive out into the desert and meet the direct descendents of the Bedouin who fought with Laurence of Arabia. Evening wander through the desert, food by the fire and sleep over in the desert. Morning tour of the Wadi.

Petra

Hotel with a proper pub. A whole day in the amazing Petra, a city literally carved out of the rock. A walk through the Siq Meet Rami from the book married to a Bedouin. Blow all my money on presents. Hill walk to the Monastery. Photographed next to a cabinet of beer cans.
