Chester 1

I accept the challenge of ding all the "tourist stuff" in Chester, for £20. I have scones and tea, do a formal tour, visit the remembrance garden, find out loads of interesting things about lower bridge street and have a pint in the Falcon, the ancient home of the Westminster family.

Chester 2

I visit the Racecourse, Walk around the Walls, listen to some Jazz, have a pint in the Boot, have a picnic in the park, go on a Boat trip, visit the museum, have a pint in a Crypt, see the Telford locks and visit a Chippy.

Bucharest 1

I visit Bucharest with the India 3 and loads of new friends. We visit the Romanian Athenaeum, Athénée Palace, the re-constructed National Theatre, See the "Ceauşescu" balcony, visit a village museum, and drink Skol.

Bucharest 2

The Arch of Triumph, wander Herăstrău Park, ponder freedom of the press square, see some old cars, "enjoy a blackout in a Restaurant and see the amazing Parliament Palace. The worst airport in the world.

Venice 1

Long weekend in Venice. Wander around St Marks square, photograph the Campanile, cross all the bridges and look out across the Lagoon.

Amsterdam

Wander around the damn. Pub crawl of authentic old pubs. The skinny bridge.

Athens 1

Meet up with my old friend Paul, and the "wandering fin". Stay at the Aristotles hotel, find a Polish bar. Visit the temple of Hephaestus, wander the Agora and its museum and climb to the acropolis and Paul's prayer Rock.

Athens 2

Eat more authentic Greek food. Visit the archeological museum and later look for bargains at the Monastiraki flea market. Wander around the. Theater of Dionysos, the Temple of Olympian zeus and the Tower of winds.

Barcelona 1

Drinks at the 4 cats, Gaudi architecture including the park and the cathedral. The vibrant atmosphere of the promenade.

A long weekend for Franks birthday. Trinity College library and wild nights in Temple bar drinking and eating boxty.
