Mum and the rest of our family on her 65th Birthday.
A picture of Mum, Emma and David on our one and only trip to Butlins.

One or our many holidays in Wales.
In the early days, some of the Caravans didn't have running water.
I remember how exciting it was, to be sent to get water from the stand pipe.
Before David was born, I was a very quiet and withdrawn child. (hard to believe now !).
Mum used to play games, and make me laugh.

My niece Lucy.
I don't see her very often, but I am always thinking of her.
From left to right, my sister Emma, my mum, my Auntie Veronica, and my auntie Marjorie.
This picture was taken at mums 60th birthday party.

A rare picture, of my Uncle John.
Not many people know, but I am actually named after him.
My Dad wanted me to be called Thomas, after his Father, but my mum insisted on John as he was the first person to visit, after I was born.
Me and Grandma on my 21st Birthday.
I remember my brother had foolishly arranged a strip-o-gram and I was a bit nervous about offending Grandma.
I shouldn't have worried, she thought it was hilarious.

Unfortunately, Grandma isn't with us anymore, but I think about her a lot.
She could never have been called an intellectual, but knew the difference between right and wrong and was never frightened of hard work.
Another great picture of Lucy.
