The Cheshire Corporate Challenge.
The Cheshire Corporate challenge is a charity race run each year by local companies, who enter teams made up of their staff.
I have taken part on behalf of Morris & Co for 5 successive years.
Years 1 and 2, I just wanted to take part, and I walked around it (at one point I even considered stopping off for a pint !).
3rd year, I said I would double the sponsor money, if I couldn't run all the way around, without stopping (I succeeded).
4th year I had been training extensively with a personal trainer, and knocked significant time of my previous year.
5th year went okay, but my fitness was reduced, so a little disappointed.
The Cheshire Challenge, hasn't been run for the last 2 years (@ Nov 2007).
